Purpose of Gujarat Chief Minister Yuva Self Reliance Scheme 2024
MYSY Scholarship Yojana 2024 : The objective of the Chief Minister Yuva Swalamban Yojana is to provide financial assistance to all the students of Gujarat to meet the expenses incurred in higher education by the government. Due to a family being financially weak, their child will get financial assistance from the government for pursuing higher studies through this scheme. And with financial help the child can continue his studies.MYSY Scholarship Yojana: Types of Scholarships
Students pursuing higher education under this scheme are eligible for the following scholarships.- Tuition fee assistance
- Hostel fee assistance
- Book assistance and instrument assistance
Benefits under Gujarat Chief Minister Yuva Swavalman Yojana 2024
- Under the Chief Minister Yuva Swavalban Yojana, non-reserved students are eligible for financial assistance to purchase books and educational equipment.
- Students who are in Medical Education Research Society and Dental courses are eligible for financial assistance of Rs 5 to 10 lakh.
- 5 years relaxation in age limit is available for all categories of students in government jobs.
- If there is no higher education facility or government hostel in that region, the government is given assistance of Rs 1200 per month for 10 months.
- All students who have passed class 10th or class 12th with 80% or more percentage and have opted for diploma course Rs. 25,000 or 50% fee whichever is less will be eligible.
- Under this scheme free clothes, free reading materials will be provided by the government.
- All those students who wish to appear in the competitive examination will be trained under the training centers.
Eligibility for MYSY Scholarship Yojana 2024
- Must have passed class 10 from a recognized board of Gujarat state with minimum 80% percentile in diploma course.
- For scholarship in bachelor degree programs candidate should have passed 12th science stream/ general stream from a recognized board of Gujarat state with minimum 80% percentile.
- The minimum eligibility under this scheme for students up to Diploma Degree is 65% marks in Diploma Examination from a University recognized by Gujarat State.
- Total income of candidate's parents should not exceed 6,00,000 to avail the benefit of this scheme.
- For which income proof should be obtained from competent authority.
